Job Description
Position Title: New Immigrant Services Assistant
Working Location: Brandon, MB, Canada
Salary Range: $11.00 - $15.00 per hour
Working Hours: 10:00 – 5:00 Monday to Friday
A developing immigration and education consulting firm is looking for Student Services Assistants to join the team and to provide settlement services for new immigrants and students.
To be succeed in this role, you should possess great Chinese and English communication skills to connect with clients and advise them on day-to-day settlement questions in Manitoba and Canada. In addition, the ideal candidate will have very strong problem-solving skills to assist client to resolve their difficulties.
Responsibilities:
• Assist clients to solve daily life problems
• Provide daily life guidance for clients and his families
• Assist team lead to prepare settlement handbooks
Requirements:
• Fluent in both English and Mandarin
• Proficient user of MS Office and Adobe Acrobat
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Education credential from a Canadian institution
• Possess a valid work permit in Canada
